Retro installation of an old Czechoslovak room (TV, radio-gramophone, tape recorder, transistor radio, armchairs, coffee table, typewriter, alarm clock, lamp...) accompanied by a live musical performance by Stereotip Monoton. The musical insert enters Czechoslovak films from the 1960’s and 1970’s live, supplements it with electronic minimal beats and uses sound samples from old films just shown (Cesta po Dunaji [The Danube Journey], 1962, Obchod na Korze [The shop on Main Street] 1965). |
