The European Media Art Festival, one of the most extensive media events world-wide.
Always in April, Osnabrück becomes be the most important meeting place for
specialists from the fields of art, culture and the media economy, as well as
for a great, interested audience. As forum for international media art, the EMAF
presents films, videos, performances, multimedia installations and digital media
such as CD-ROM, DVD and the Internet. Besides productions by internationally
renowned artists, the work of European media-and fine-art students is in focus
in Osnabrück.
Hermann Noering, MA, born 1956. Studied media science in London, in Osnabrück.
Curator and festival director. Several lectures on interactive art and presentations
for example in Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Auckland and Belgrad.

Multiplace is the alternative festival for new media art and culture.
