hello,

quite the stories from the last days :)

in UK, animals entered the free culture battlefield,
when the woman was charged a 100 GBP annual licence fee
for playing the opera and orchestral symphonies on the radio
to keep calm the horses at her stables, since the
copyright collecting agency considers it a public performance.

ex-RIAA lawyers-led Department of Justice made their day
when Obama government approved up to $150,000 fine for
downloading a single mp3 file...
.but people say not to worry, $150,000 won't be worth
that much in few years.

Vaclav Havel asked the audience at the last weeks' creative
industries conference in Prague about what economical effect
has had brought the richly decorated and enourmously high
Prague's Saint Vitus's cathedral in its time.
it was an rhetorical question..
