thanks so much for the reply...wow, yes!  i will be in lisbon on the 23rd until around the 26th at least.  i then need to be in france on the 27th or 28th for a meeting, but back after that...do you have a place to stay yet?  if not, i would be happy to give you a room, at least while i am still in lisbon, but if i am just gone for a couple of days, perhaps for the whole time, or maybe while i am gone is when you could go to o porto - in fact, i am writing to you from there right now!!  i am here for a couple of days to work with one of my collaborators and perhaps you could stay with her as well for a couple of days...let me know what your plan for the dates to come here are and i will ask her...or you could just play it by ear of course:)

as for the meeting in prague, yes the earlier the better - 18th or 19th would be great as i need to be back in lisbon by the 21st latest for a talk im giving either on the 22nd or 23rd...if the 23rd you are welcome to come listen, it is for the upgrade!lisbon.  i am going to try and arrive in prague on the 14th or 15th and leave on the 20th or 21st, that would be ideal...too bad the dates don't fully coincide, we could have taken the same flight back.

wow, great!  i am really looking forward to seeing you and everyone in prague then, and to see you in lisbon as well!

keep me posted and i will buy my ticket as soon as i hear from you!  where did you get your cheap flight by the way?
