Projekt študentov ADBK Wien a AVU Praha “What Went Wrong” sa zaoberá pozoruhodným rozšírením pohyblivých obrazov. Prostredníctvom spojenia krátkeho filmu, videa a VJ-ingu sa táto akcia stáva zamyslením nad neustále sa meniacou povahou súčasného umenia a jeho vzťahu k efemérnej prítomnosti.
The project “What Went Wrong” looks at the phenomenal proliferation of moving-image material, being produced by the students of the ADBK Wien and AVU Praha. Bringing together short film, video and VJ-ing this show is a meditation on the ever-changing nature of contemporary art and its relationship to the ephemeral present. What the presented authors have in common is the desire and intention to relate across the artificiality of time and space whether physical, social or institutional space. Notions of dislocation, relocation, identity, urban space, and humanism, across cultures and disciplines, metaphorically and literally, are at the center of this event that critically questions the limits of art and movie experiences, while re-asserting the preeminence of art as an emotional, moving, though conceptual, experience.
